About GCS Designs

I’m a designer of contemporary jewellery working in 9ct gold and sterling silver, handcrafting each piece using traditional metalsmithing techniques. Trained in silver and fine jewellery at a London jewellery school, my work is rooted in time honoured craftsmanship while embracing a modern, organic aesthetic.

Nature has always been my greatest source of inspiration. The textures of bark, the softness of petals, the quiet strength of the ancient woodland. These elements gently shape my designs. Each piece is thoughtfully created in my studio in the heart of Sherwood Forest, Edwinstowe, where the surrounding landscape continually influences my creative process.

My inspiration comes from my Grandma, who as a young women created her own jewellery as a hobby, and her creativity left a lasting impression on me.

I am deeply committed to creating meaningful pieces for people, especially for life’s most important moments. With every piece I make, I strive to capture that sentiment, crafting not just jewellery, but heirlooms to be cherished for generations.

Each piece is designed and meticulously handcrafted by me, ensuring that every one has it’s own unique character.

I feel privileged to have this gift and to be able to share my passion with you all.
